Royal Family-Marie Antoinette (Emma Schambers)
What has happened to our country? Massacres are constantly occurring during this month of September and I don't even know where to begin to explain my disappointment due to these events. People are being brutally killed and tortured. My good friend, Princess Marie-Louise, was held in a prison and horribly murdered. These massacres have really emotionally hurt me in so many ways. I do not enjoy seeing my people getting hurt like this. I hope this all ends soon. If it continues, everything will fall apart. Someone must put an end to all of this. For now, I am going to try to comfort those who are close to me. I am going to let other people try to put an end to this. I do not want to get hurt. Hopefully someone can soon end this nonsense. Hopefully this violence won't last forever.

It's true that everything you are going through is very unfair. We can only hope that some good will come out of this such as a better government. Obviously the monarchy is not working. France must try a new type of government for the government has failed at protecting people's natural rights. There needs to be a separation of power.

ReplyDeleteI am glad to see that a leader of my country is agreeing with me, for I do not approve of the killing of so many people who have done nothing wrong! People are being put in prison cells, then killed shortly after because they have a belief that is even slightly different from the beliefs of the people revolting. Just because I am a part of the first estate does not mean that I deserve to be killed! I am just as sickened as you are.
Isaac Pontarelli: (Urban Woman) that's easy for you to say, you in a palace, surrounded by guards. You want nothing at all, so don't even pretend to understand our troubles.

ReplyDeleteThis is why you are in hinding! This is why the revolution occured. All you ever did was stand in the shadow of another. You never took actions. You let someone else deal with all the problems while you sat comfortably in your palace drinking tea and crumpets with not a care in the world. You were responsible for the lives of many and you did nothing. How dare you!

ReplyDeleteDarling, you may not just hind away forever. Running does not help. You must not rely on others to deal with the conflict of your people. I know it seems as if now a days you have been stripped of your power. You have only lost your power to be a ruler but you still have the powers that everyone is granted at birth as a natural human being. These rights inculde your freedom of speech. If you want the violence to end, you must use your voice to make it end. You still have rights my darling queen. Do not wait for others. Use your speech to help put an end to the massacres
