Prisoner (Kourtney Clements)

It is the month of September in the year 1792. I'm sitting in a prison for no reason whatsoever. I am an innocent man. I did nothing wrong but not take part in the revolution. I am "the reason for the revolution." Why? Because I am a part of the first estate? I used to be an honorable man until people decided that I am suddenly a criminal because I am more privileged than the lower class. I cannot help that I was born into my title, so why should I be put on death row for this? I am going to die for this and I could not be more terrified. My fear and my life is just a minuscule amount of the events occurring in this September Massacre. These people are revolting against us, killing us, and I don't know why but they call this "justice."It is disgusting that our lack of participation in the revolution is resulting in our heads being removed and our lived being taken.

  1. This is a perfect example of my belief that society corrupts every individual. Like you said, it is not your fault you were born into the first Estate, yet because of this you are waiting in line to get beheaded and murdered.

  2. Prisoner (S. Loomis),

I'm with you. We don't deserve to be held up like this in these conditions. Especially if the rioters in the streets are going to kill us. We are sitting ducks.

You narsasistic evil man! INNOCENT! You are everything BUT innocent! You say you have done nothing wrong, what a liar. You know what you have done. You have been plotting against the revolution with the royal family! You have been trying to stop it in your tracks but we will not allow it. You say you are an honorable man, honorable?!?! You are anything BUT honorable. It is because of you that my family was poor and hungry, that my mother died when i was only seventeen. It was people like you! You had your chance and you blew it, you are anything but honorable. You could have chosen to leave the first estate but you didn't. Charles Evremonde left and we spared his life. You speak of this "justice" as if it is evil! This is what you deserve! This is the sacrefice you have to pay for a better future, the saame sacrafices we have been paying for years due to you, death. You must die for your crimes or else there would be no justice.

I realize it is wrong to kill all those in prisons, but we have todo something. You are wrong, you are causing the revolution. We have been unfairly taxed forever and it's time for you to pay. I'm not sure if dying is the right punishment, but there is nothing I can do now. You haven't felt real struggle because you always had what you need. This is justice and we need to take charge.
