What have I truly done wrong to lead this country to massacre. The Jacobins and sans-culottes have truly gone mad. They are going to the prisons killing the nobles and priests that are held there. I haven't a say in any of it. They have taken away my precious power. It used to be all up to me and now I mean nothing. I have to get out of here. It's no longer safe. I escaped but that only made matters worse. Im stuck. My people are dying on my land and I can't do a thing. If I even dared try I would be sent right to the guillotine. Bodies are being mutilated and everyone is scared that they will be next. I don't know what to do or how to handle such a radical group. I have to hope that it will all get better.

What have you done wrong?! Well isn't quite obvious? Our country is in debt and the poor are the people who are paying for it. How does that make sense? Why can't you pay the taxes? You throw lavish parties and buy your wife beautiful dresses and jewelry! Surely you can afford to pay taxes! It's people like me who are paying for your court expenses! Maybe now you will finally understand why people like you need to pay taxes. I'm sorry that it had to lead to violence. What else could the citizens of the third estate do to make people like you listen?

DeleteNot only have you made us pay for all the taxes when we were not those equipped to contribute to the nations treasury but you have taken our taxes and used it for your benefit. All of the taxes that we paid have been spent on building your precious Versaille palace, or waging war in froeign countries where it was not our right to get involved. Also if you would please note that it was us who battles in those wars, it is us who have suffered, who have watched a beloved friend get shot in the stomach, and feel the sickness we had on the treaterous boat rides with nothing but rotten food and filthy rats. You only used taxes to benefit yourself! You deserve the guillotine!
